Network management and IT outsourcing

Network management means an external team takes over complete care of your company IT for a fixed monthly fee. We look after servers, computers, network equipment and backups – from proactive monitoring through regular maintenance to dealing with outages. The contractual response time is within 2 hours on business days, and we resolve up to 80 % of requests remotely, so work starts almost immediately without waiting for a technician to arrive.

Who network management suits

A typical client is a company with 5 to 100 computers that can no longer handle IT on its own but does not have enough work for a full-time IT specialist. Instead of one employee you get a team with different specialisations – a network engineer, a server administrator, a security technician and a developer – and you pay only for the scope you actually need.

The model works just as well when a company has its own IT administrator and we add capacity where one person is not enough: during migrations, with server virtualization, during security audits, or as cover during holidays.

What network management covers

The scope always follows from an initial analysis of your infrastructure. In practice the work consists of these areas:

  • Proactive monitoring – we continuously watch the state of servers, disk arrays and network equipment. Disk space running out or a failed drive in an array is dealt with before it causes an outage.
  • Server and workstation management – installation, operating system and application updates, user account and access rights management.
  • Backup and data recovery – setting up backup jobs and, above all, regularly verifying that a backup really restores. An untested backup is not a backup.
  • Network infrastructure – configuration of routers, switches, Wi-Fi and corporate VPN for work from home and for linking branch offices.
  • Security – firewall, antivirus protection, update management and ransomware defence. More detail on the network security page.
  • User helpdesk – everyday staff requests, from a printer that will not work to recovering a deleted file.
  • Planning ahead – we advise when hardware is worth replacing and when it will still last, so you invest at a sensible time.

How quickly we respond

The contractual response time is within 2 hours on business days. Response time means the time within which a technician starts working on the problem – not the time it takes to travel to you. That is an important difference: because we handle up to 80 % of requests remotely, usually no travel is needed at all and work begins within minutes of you reporting the issue.

We come on site where remote work is not possible – hardware replacement, cabling, or a connectivity outage. Besides emergency call-outs we also visit clients regularly according to an agreed schedule, so routine maintenance does not pile up.

How the cooperation starts

  1. Free consultation – we go through what slows you down most today and what you need from IT.
  2. Initial analysis – we map existing servers, workstations, the network, backups and security. The output is an overview of the current state and its risks.
  3. Proposed scope and price – we propose the scope of services and the monthly fee. You know in advance what is included and what is charged separately.
  4. Taking over – we take over documentation and access, deploy monitoring, and fix the most pressing findings from the analysis.
  5. Ongoing operation – monitoring, regular maintenance and helpdesk. The scope can be adjusted at any time as the company grows.

What network management costs

We charge a flat monthly fee with no hidden charges. The amount depends on the number of devices and users, the number and type of servers, and the required response time – a different fee makes sense for an office with ten computers than for a company with branch offices and its own server room. A flat fee puts both sides in the same position: the more stable your IT is, the less work we have, so it pays us to prevent problems rather than bill for them.

We always propose the specific amount after the initial analysis. One-off work beyond the flat fee and IT consulting are charged by the hour from CZK 990 per hour (about €41).

Why outsource instead of hiring an IT employee

For most small and medium companies outsourcing is more economical than an in-house specialist. You get access to a team of people with different specialisations for a fraction of the cost of one employee, and you avoid the risk that all knowledge of your network walks out of the door with them. We also ensure continuity regardless of holidays and sick leave – where an in-house administrator is the only person, their absence means a week without support.

We have worked in IT services since 1999 and provide reliable service to dozens of corporate clients. You will find an overview in our references, and answers to the most common questions in the FAQ section.
